100% recommended not mandatory however.

1. Disable G-SYNC / Free-Sync if your Monitor Supports it.

   
2. Download CRU here

3. Run CRU.exe as admin.

4. Press Edit on each monitor profile and do following:

   1. ID Serial #: Change the last 4 digits to something random.

   2. Serial Number: Change the last 4 digits to something random.

      1. If empty, just keep it empty.

5. Repeat this with all other monitor profiles.

   1. If the same monitor has multiple profiles, ensure its same digits you change!

6. Follow the video to change the serials for all your monitors.

7. Restart your PC and check serials are still changed.
